We offer reasonable rates and guarantee you will have an unforgettable experience out on the crystal clear waters of Lake Taupo. Don’t worry if you have never fished before as our crew will be delighted to do everything to help you land your fish. We are here to help you catch amazing Lake Taupo trout.

Novice or experienced angler, let us show you the magic of this beautiful region, share our knowledge, tell you our trout secrets and get you to experience the thrill of landing those legendary brown or rainbow trout.

All quality fishing tackle is provided at no extra charge, just bring your camera, accommodation is also available at our Lake Taupo Bed & Breakfast.

To fish Lake Taupo you must have a fishing licence, currently $17 adults, $4.50 children. We can arrange these for you!

Unlike other countries,trout cannot be purchased in New Zealand. To taste wonderful Taupo trout you must catch it yourself, most restaurants in Taupo will cook your catch for you, we can recommend some of the best. Your catch will be cleaned and bagged for you, and if you wish, trout smoking, vacuum packing and certification to leave New Zealand can be arranged.

Complimentary tea/coffee is provided, and you may bring your own wine/beer, or we can supply. Just email us with your requirements.

Not everyone wants to go fishing. Book a scenic cruise and we will show you spectacular scenery and the famous Maori Rock Carvings. You can take a swim from the boat in a secluded bay or relax with a glass of wine.

Boat Charter. (This is not a per person rate.) $110.00 per hour

Maximum number on board is 5 although only 4 can fish at any one time.
Standard boat hire 3 hours.
 
Cruising & Sightseeing Charter Rates $145 per hour, minimum 2 hours
